House Closing Checklist
- Turn off newspaper delivery, if applicable
- Put the patio chairs, cushions and lighthouse in the garage
- Turn off the ice maker in the freezer
- Lock both lanai doors (living room & 2nd bedroom) and put down the security bars
- Turn off the garage door opener (panel next to laundry room entry)
- Close all windows and shades
- Set the thermostat to 84 degrees
- Turn off all ceiling fans (including the ones on the back lanai and front porch)
- Put all keys (house, car, golf cart) in the wicker basket on the front entryway table
- Put garage remotes & gate passes in the wicker basket on the front entryway table
